1936 Austin 7 Ruby

Sold

Location: Cranleigh

The Austin 7 is an economy car that was produced from 1923 until 1939 in the United Kingdom by Austin. It was nicknamed the "Baby Austin" and, at that time, was one of the most popular cars produced for the British market.

This 1936 Austin 7 Ruby is probably one of the best oil rag Rubys around. It starts and runs very well, the engine was reconditioned in its recent life and there is no frost damage. It drives well and the gear change is smooth. The body work is fabulously original and there is no corrosion as far as we car see, even the sun shine roof works correctly. The interior is no exception to the condition and is very much in keeping with the overall look of the car.

Some history and paperwork does come with the vehicle.
