1975 MG B Roadster

Sold

Location: Cranleigh

Replacing the MGA in 1962, production of the MGB continued until 1980. Sales for the MGB, MGC and MGB GT V8 totaled over 500,000 cars.

This MG B roadster was first registered on the 1st Feb 1975, in Newcastle - Upon - Tyne and more recently it found its way to Market Rasen where it had been since 2009.

The car starts and runs very well, it is fitted with a full stainless steel exhaust system including the manifold which is highly unusual. The oil pressure is around 60 psi when cold and 40 psi when hot, It sounds great and goes well!

It drives very nicely, handles well and is also fitted with uprated front discs and pads as well as new front tyres. The overdrive is in perfect working order and there is no nasty noises from the drive train. The brake hydraulics have also been overhauled recently.

There is no corrosion to the underside, there are a couple of repairs but these have been carried out to a high standard - it is not covered in thick underseal and it has just been fully treated with Lanoguard. The car has been professionally resprayed at some point and there are now a number of areas of imperfections, especially around the wheel arches.

The interior is lovely, a new carpet has been fitted at some point and the seats are perfect. The hood is in good order and water tight.
